Bellwether – Denver CO

Bellwether

Bellwether is a mix of a bar, coffee shop, and barbershop. The ownership at Bellwether says their mission is to provide the Denver area an excellent neighborhood cocktail bar that serves as a great space where people feel inspired. This is the place to get together, go to work, and relax with a brewed drink. (You choose the type, alcoholic, or otherwise!)

The barbershop located at the back of the store is also highly rated, so if you need a haircut, the stylists at Bellwether will take care of you. Bellwether also has a good membership deal, which we’ll get more into below, and plenty of rental space for businesses.

What Can Bellwether Do That Other Coffee Shops Can’t?

Well, they can cut your hair. But, that’s not it. When you walk in, expect it to be inviting with a hipster atmosphere attached. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see the awesome skull on the wall. There’s plenty of seating and tables to go around.

Depending on the time of day, you may see people hanging out, or there could be a large number of people perusing the cocktails or getting something from the coffee bar.

You Can Add Whiskey To Your Coffee Drink and Join Their Membership

You could add whiskey into your coffee, and the bartenders there make all sorts of inspiring coffee-infused cocktails too. The coolest thing they offer is membership privileges. If you like Bellwether, you can buy a membership for $10 a month.

Here’s what it’ll get you:

  • All-day happy hour pricing.
  • Unlimited printer use.
  • High-speed commercial wi-fi.
    Exclusive invites to Bellwether events.
  • On your birthday, you get a $50 tab.

What About Their Coffee And Food?

Bellwether serves Cream City Coffee roasted by Stone Creek Coffee. Their low acidity coffee beans are medium roasted, with aromas of cocoa, cashew, cherry, and lemon. It’s a great all-around coffee that suits the tastes of many caffeine addicts. They also offer almond milk for lactose-intolerant people.

For food, they have a variety of pastries and other bread. However, don’t expect this to be the right place for lunch or dinner, only to satisfy your pastry cravings.

Some Drinks You Will Find On the Menu

Bellwether baristas specialize in making:

  • Espressos
  • Macchiatos
  • Cortados
  • Cappuccinos
  • Americanos
  • Lattes
  • Chai teas

Customers Rave About Their Experience

According to reviews, customers at Bellwether love their membership, the musical atmosphere, and the staff. All of their team, from the baristas to the stylists and bartenders, have high praises. There’s a lot for this coffee shop/bar/barbershop to offer its Denver community.

If you’re a person or business looking to use their event spacing, Bellwether supports anything from private VIP get-togethers, fundraisers, and birthday parties.

It’s a great space to meet friends, especially with its cliquish vibe and open atmosphere. It’s also one of the only coffee stores with a valuable membership option for the price. They are open from 7 AM to 10 PM almost every day and extend their hours to 1 AM every Friday and Saturday.
